The White Bass
The White Bass belongs to the Moronidae family. Its maximum length is 46 cm and its maximum weight is 3.2 kg. Its maximum lifespan is 15 years. Spawning takes place from March to May. The best time to catch it is from mid-April to mid-May. As with other true basses, the dorsal fin is clearly double, separated into thorny and soft-raked parts. White Bass is a silvery shade ranging from dark grey or black on the back to white on the belly. Several incomplete lines or stripes extend horizontally on either side of the body. Adults look like a young striped bass, and the two are often confused. However, the striped bass has two distinct pieces of teeth on the back of the tongue, and the white wolf has one piece of tooth. The striped bass has two points on each cap, unlike the white bass which has one, and the second spine of the anal fin measures about half of the third spine of the striped bass, while it is about two thirds the length of the third spine in White Bass.

The Bleak fish is a Cyprinidae. In general, its average size is 10 to 15 cm and its weight is 15 to 50 g. However, some individuals can reach up to 60 g for a size of 25 cm. The bleak has a lifespan of 6-7 years. The spawning period is between April and August. It can lay up to 7000 spawns. You can fish bleak from June to September. This fish swims quite fast and offers a little resistance during the catch. The bleak is a fish with an elongated body that is very compressed laterally, allowing it to have a high velocity. The upper jaw is shorter than the lower jaw. The mouth of the bleak is oriented upwards (above), a typical character of fish that seek their food on the surface. The Blacktip shark belongs to the Carcharhinidae family. If the maximum height is between 2.50 and 2.80 m, the average is more usually around 1.50 m, for a weight of 120 kg. The life expectancy of the blacktip shark is estimated at 12 years. Mating takes place from spring to early summer. It can be fished all year round. The blacktip shark has a relatively slender body with a long, conical snout. Its back and sides are ash grey; a light horizontal lateral stripe marks this area of the white belly quite slightly and a broad white line is often visible, belonging to the belly, coming from the caudal peduncle and stopping under the dorsal fin. The long nose is flattened dorso-ventrally and appears slightly rounded when viewed from below. The eyes are forward, relatively small. The mouth is wide. The nostrils are thin and you can't see the spiracles. The upper and lower teeth are quite similar, with a broad base and an almost straight point with finely crenellated edges. The pectoral fins are sickle-shaped. The first pointed dorsal fin with a pyramidal profile is inserted just behind the pectoral fins. The second dorsal fin is much smaller, facing the anal fin, of the same size. Just in front of the anal fin is a pair of small pelvic fins. Finally, the caudal fin is heterocercal with a fairly large upper lobe. The Sailfish belongs to the Istiophoridae family. The maximum size of the sailfish is 340 cm in total length and about 100 kg. The average life span of 4 years. Spawning usually takes place in summer. It can be fished all year round. The upper jaw is modified into a long beak with a circular cross-section. The upper jaw is about twice the length of the lower jaw. Two dorsal and anal fins are present. The first dorsal fin is large, much higher than the width of the body. This large fin extends almost the entire length of the body, the longest radius being the 20th. The first anal fin is very far from the body.
